About a week ago, Mikey started having rice cereal twice a day. Since then his poop has slowly started to change. Of course, he started with the newborn meconium (tar consistency with no strong smell, if I recall correctly). But he has moved from the yellow, with looks-like-sesame-seeds-but-really-it's-curdled-milk clumps that almost smells like buttery popcorn, into what he's pooping now, which is about the consistency of wet cement and has an unmistakable this-is-poop smell. (All you other parents, tell me I don't have the poop descriptions spot-on?) It's just another sign he's getting bigger. And leaves me none too excited for when he starts trying other foods that

this is how much i like that kid - i even like his poop. that's sick and wrong, i probably shouldn't admit to it.
for the record, i just don't mind changing it.
It gets so much worse! But I have to say that I didn't mind it so much until potty training, when the diaper was no longer there to contain the problem. Sorry for TMI.
I'm not so much a poop fan and I agree with Cassidy it gets worse.
Oh, I'm not under any delusion that it's not going to get worse. And Cass, definitely not too much info. It'll all be so very important very soon!
I hate poop. I nearly hyperventilate when it gets on my finger or something. Thankfully the poop transitions are gradual so by the time it gets really bad you'll practically be desensitized.
